Cathy Riddle Retirement
~ Adventure Awaits ~
We want to give our sincerest congratulations to Cathy Riddle as she is saying her goodbyes! She will be retiring October 31, 2020. Cathy volunteered at The CARE Clinic from 1996 until 2005 and joined the staff as our Clinical Director in 2015. She is quoted as saying “The CARE Clinic is an amazing place to work, you never know what miracle is going to happen next.” Cathy is a blessing to all those who have the pleasure of working alongside her as well as to the patients that she has helped through the years. She is dedicated to all that she does and knows how to laugh even when it all seems a little crazy.
Cathy’s motivation to ensure The CARE Clinic is working at its full potential shows in the extra lengths she will go to from learning how to take dental x-rays or stepping in to help where ever she is needed, even if it means sitting on a golf course before coming to work the evening clinic. She has been an instrumental part of the necessary changes that we have seen in the clinic to bring us to the most up to date technology so that we can offer our patients the best possible care. Cathy worked alongside our Medical Director in ensuring we had all the proper protocols in place during COVID 19 to follow all guidelines while protecting the staff, patients and volunteers. Her tireless dedication has not gone unnoticed and will be sorely missed.
Cathy is married and has two fur babies that enjoy spending time with her at the beach. In her spare time, she volunteers at Good Shepherd Catholic Church teaching Baptismal prep classes to parents, Safe Environment Training to adults who work with children, and serving as a Eucharistic Minister and Lector. She loves spending time with family, playing poker, and being by the water whether it is swimming at the Health Plex, kayaking on the lake or relaxing at the beach. Her retirement plans include finally taking that COVID delayed trip to Costa Rica that her husband bought at our Wine Tasting last year.
We sincerely appreciate Cathy’s dedication and clinical leadership for the past five and a half years, and wish her well in her retirement. You will be missed.
